Let me start by saying that although Ive never married I still believe in romance and the thrill from the pursuit of a woman in a gentlemanly manner Ive even been told that Im like a dinosaur just because I believe that most women want and deserve to be treated with respect and genuine affection Things like lying to cheating on and abusing a girlfriend do not fit into my way of existence So if Im an almost extinct species of a Man Im at least proud of being the man I am I may be a kind man but Im certainly not a weak one Am I old fashioned
I am a firm believer in the power of Chivalry an almost Obsolete code of honor ethics and morality that originated long ago during the middle ages or medieval times in history Chivalry came to be at a time when brave Knights fought and died with dignity and was best described in the story of Camelot Thus was spawned the phrase "Knight in Shining Armor" To be Chivalrous is to be the hero and protector of the woman he loves and her good name at any cost including the loss of his own life Well fortunately I dont wear a suit of armor and I dont ride a big black horse or at least not daily I usually wear blue jeans and drive a Luxury Sports Truck But the concept ideals and other attributes that represent Chivalry have been a part of me all my life
