MIJN VERHAAL
Imagine scuba diving off the coast of Aruba, snorkeling with manta rays and sea turtles, windsurfing, and bookreading on the beach with your favorite people. Yes, I love stepping off a plane in the tropics, which is why I’m Caribbeanbound as often as possible. It’s not always blue waters and rum runners served in coconuts though.Monday through Friday, I’m a general contractor. It’s rewarding to solve realworld problems and see big vacant lots turn into shiny new homes. But my favorite part is driving past an old job site and seeing a happy family playing in the front yard.Balance is important to me. At the end of the work day, I like hitting the gym for a few laps in the pool or knocking out my free weight routine. After, I might call up some friends and throw an impromptu BBQ, complete with fresh steaks and my almostfamous potato salad. It pairs nicely with a decent bottle of wine…I’m attracted to intelligent, creative, and kind women. You like being outside, and spontaneous trips to faroff countries. And you don’t have to be the next Julia Child, but it’d be more fun if you enjoy experimenting in the kitchen as well.
