Hi and thanks for dropping by for a read. I hope youre well and have had a great day so far today.
Heres a little bit about myself. I live along the south coast and love the area around here living very near the South Downs and only a 5 minute drive away from the beach. I equally like days out as well as nights in and try to do both at the exact same time, how cool is that? No seriously, I enjoy the home life as much as spending a day at a theme park, although I tend to give the mega fast rides a miss now.
I really enjoy romance and am a big softy when it comes to things like walking handinhand along the beach when the tide is in or out, or sitting in a garden at night just gazing up and watching the stars together. I like to be caring and tactile and find a smile from a loved one more than warm and comforting. Laughter and hugs together are one of those moments that can only be explained and felt by sharing it with that special someone.
Im honest and fiercely loyal, respectful, caring and loving, placid, laid back and easy going with a ton of love to give. I love to give and receive spontaneous hugs and kisses and am tactile by nature.
Im quite a shy person at first but have been told I have a wicked sense of humour. I do like to laugh a lot and see people laugh with me. Once Im over that initial shyness Im told I tend to talk like crazy. I dont know if thats a good or bad thing but in my defense I do shut up when Im told too. I like to listen and learn from conversations and have been told Im a good listener and dont openly have opinions on everything. Im not wanting one night stands and not looking for casual dating but would like to get to know someone at a comfortable pace for both of us. I would love to be in a long term relationship where we are exactly right for each other and am more than happy to wait for the right time and the right woman. I know this could take some time but I also know youre out there somewhere. If I make some great female friends on the way then fantastic.
I have three children who insist they are adults but they will always mean the world to me. The oldest and the youngest are still at home and Im a fulltime carer for my youngest daughter who is 19 and autistic and fantastic fun. We run a small part time business together cooking home made readymeals for elderly relatives and neighbours and I sometimes also go back to my old job for maybe a day or two as a website developer when called upon by former clients, which is good fun and enjoyable. I still like making websites do all sorts of fun stuff, but thats only once in a blue moon now. Ive never actually seen a blue moon.
My main hobbies are cooking, and gardening. I love fast oneliner jokes, great banter and dare I say, appreciate clever sarcasm, even if its the kids comments about my cooking, but I love to experiment with food. I love cooking, especially from scratch, and really do wish Id been a chef, so I would always have to have first dibs in the kitchen.
Im also keen on DIY both inside the house and in the garden and plan to get everything up to date inside and out this year.
